The largest plant based burger chain in Germany, Vincent Vegan and the German food tech firm The Raging Pig Company have teamed together to introduce Raging Pig’s plant based bacon across the country.
The Raging Pig company, located in Hamburg and founded in 2021, claims to employ an unique production method to overcome the difficulty of producing crispy plant based bacon.
Its Raging Bacon makes use of byproducts from the food sector to provide a product that stands out for its robust bacon flavour, eye catching appearance, and several uses.
According to the firm, their goal is to eliminate 1.5 billion pigs from the world’s food supply. An alternative of German sausage is also produced by Ranging Pig.

During Q2 2023, the businesses want to make the product available through a number of food service partners and Raging Pig aims to eventually provide more plant based substitutes.
The Raging Pig appears as a result of plant based bacon’s considerable popularity in Europe, which is mostly attributable to France’s La Vie. Burger King stores throughout France have secured menu space for the Natalie Portman-backed vegan bacon brand.
